Back in 1680, this stone house appeared somewhere in the world which is located near the north coast of Cornwall.
 
 
Years later, one young family obtained it and started a long process of restoration and repairs. The small windows and low ceilings typical of old cottages made the house look rather dark and unwelcoming.
 
 
 
To bring in light, the walls, ceilings as well as beams were painted white. White window frames enhance the reflection of natural light.
